Sweet & Spicy Slow Cooker Chicken Wings
Fix it and forget it, these Sweet & Spicy Slow Cooker Chicken Wings are the perfect appetizer! With a little kick and a hint of sweetness they are delicious.

- 2 pounds chicken wings wings and drumettes
- 1 ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ to ½ sriracha hot chili sauce ¼ cup for mild, ½ cup for spicy
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup onion finely chopped
- 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbs freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 3 Tbs cornstarch
- ¼ cup water
In a large bowl, mix ketchup, sriracha, brown sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, lime juice, mustard and pepper.
Place the chicken in the crockpot and add the sauce, toss to coat.
Turn on low for 3 hours. When time is finished, whisk cornstarch into the water. Add to the slow cooker and mix. Cook until the sauce is thickened, about 20 minutes.
Serve with carrot and celery sticks and ranch dressing.

- We like to use the wings and drumettes for this and not flats, you can find them broken down at the store under the name wingettes.
- Easily double this recipe for larger crowds!
- You can use any dipping sauces that you like if you are a dipper, we prefer ranch or blue cheese.
- Do not cook on high, always cook these on low, see my tips above on why.
